September is National Library Card Sign-up Month
New, limited-edition Troy-Miami County Public Library cards are available beginning September 3 with a special design created by Miami County Commissioner and business owner Ted Mercer. The design celebrates the Troy community and its beautiful downtown.
“The images I share of Troy and Miami County, not only magnify the beauty of our communities,” said Ted Mercer “but represent the people's steadfast pride in the place they work and call home.”

Troy-Miami County Public Library Seeks Community Donations for Upcoming "Library of Things" Collection
This special collection will allow patrons to borrow items beyond books and media, helping to enrich the community with tools and resources for learning, crafting, playing, and more. To make this collection as robust and diverse as possible, we are reaching out for donations of gently used items that may need a new home.

Local History & Genealogy Center
Our Local History & Genealogy Center at the Hobart Government Center is open with temporary hours beginning Monday, December 2. Visit us on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that all resources are not all in place yet, and some services may require time and patience.
