Troy-Miami County Public Library offers a Seed Library!
What is a Seed Library?
It is a chance for community members and library cardholders to have access to FREE seeds and grow plants, including vegetables, herbs, and flowers for enjoyment and food.
How do I check out seeds?
Stop in and browse the available selection in our re-purposed card catalog located by the front doors. Take seeds to the Circulation Desk for "checkout" (they are not required to be returned - it just helps us track them). All you need is your library card - it's so easy!
If you have any questions about planting and growing we encourage you to visit Pam at the Information Desk.
Our current batch of seeds was donated by Burpee, West Coast Seeds, Living Seed Co., Seed Savers Exchange, Snake River Seed Co-op, Hudson Valley Seed, High Mowing Organic Seeds, Sow Right Seeds, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Bentley Seeds, and Prairie Moon Nursery. - Thank you for your support of this project.
