Week #3 - Summer Solstice

Activity bags are available at all locations this week (They are available at the times listed below while they last - FCFS):
 
• At the Troy Rec and the Lincoln Community Center during the summer lunch programs. 

• At the Troy-Miami County Public Library from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday, June 15.

• At the Pleasant Hill Library from12-4 p.m. on Monday, June 15.

This week:

Get Moving - Enjoy a new bouncy surprise! How many fun games can you play with your friends or family?

Learn about the Sun - The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, is Saturday, June 20th. Read a book, ask a friend or family member, or explore our digital resources to answer trivia about the sun! Turn in your completed answers for a chance to win cool prizes!

Make a Sundial - The oldest known instrument for telling time, the sundial, allows us to track the position of the sun more accurately. Use the kit provided to create your own way to tell time.

Explore our Neighbors - The Bradford Library is offering fun activities this summer for all ages too. Find more information in your packet.

Have a Vision - Use the supplies provided to create your own Vision Board. Tune into our virtual program presented by theTroy Rec on Friday at 1:30 p.m. to learn how.
