Changes for the New Year!

With the passage of the levy (Thank You again, everyone!) and the new calendar year, there will be some changes that will benefit our users.

Self Check-There is now a station at the circulation desk where you may check out your own materials.  It is very simple to use, with step by step instructions.  Library Staff members are available to help you with using it if you have any questions.

Library Hours-Thanks to the passage of the levy, Troy is now back to being open 7 days a week!  Monday through Thursday 9am - 8pm, Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 1-5pm.  Oakes-Beitman hours are Monday-Thursday noon - 8pm, Friday noon - 5pm, Saturday 11am - 3pm.  The Local History Library is now open  Monday and Wednesday 10am - 8pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm.

Okay, where did the.....go?  Yes, we are moving things around again.  We are currently working to get all the fiction books in one location.  This means that the mysteries and science fiction books will be interfiled with the regular fiction, but identifible by their labels.  The space where the mystery and science fiction books were kept will become the A/V room, housing videos, DVDs, CDs, and Books on cassette and CD.  The Large Print books will remain in that space.  These changes will be taking place in steps, so please be patient with us as we work through this move.
